Why should I choose labels from Label & Co?
Thanks to our labels, not only children can recognize their own belongings, but it is also clear to everyone else who is the owner and it is therefore easy for to get them back.

Do the self-adhesive labels stick to any surface?
The self-adhesive labels stick to any clean, dry, smooth, non-greasy surface. The shoe labels stick best to clean, smooth and flat surfaces.

Do the iron-on labels attach in any fabric?
The iron-on labels attach itself in cotton, cotton / polyester and polyester / acrylic; however not every fabric can deal with the required maximum high temperatures of the iron. Therefore, we recommend that you read the fabric label first or test out an iron-on label on a small hidden part of the fabric.

What if I don't need so many labels?
Normalwise it is not possible to order less than the proposed quantity of labels. Due to technical issues, every time we need to produce a fixed amount of labels.

Do the prices include VAT and shipping costs?
Prices are inclusive of VAT, but exclusive of delivery charges; since delivery charges depend on the distance and the size of the delivery.

What are the delivery times?
For the Netherlands Label & Co endeavors to deliver all orders within 5 (five) working days, after full payment is received, and within 10 working days for other Countries. Normalwise orders which have been ordered and payed (before 13:00 pm) will be delivered next workingday in Holland, approx. within 3 (three) workingdays for Belgium and Germany.

Who delivers the products?
Normal wise we send all labels via PostNL. Label & Co is not responsible and/or liable for any loss, damages and delay in delivery of the labels.

Can I order other products after I have placed an order?
Unfortunately it is not possible to add products to an order after this has been placed. If you wish to order something else, please place another order. Due to these circumstances we can credit the 2^nd delivery costs in a new order. Please contact customer service first before sending your correction order.

How do I know if my order has been sent?
At the time we send your order, you will receive a confirmation e-mail. From that day onwards the order can be delivered. 

Do the actual labels look exactly as they appear on the website?

Label & Co. does its best to deliver products that are as close as possible to your wishes. However, it could happen that the colours on the website are not exactly the same as the ones of the final labels. Unfortunately this cannot be avoided.
You decide wich text you want to have on your labels. But any text you enter will be exactly shown by us, or taken over, including the use of uppercase and lowercase, characters and spaces. The number of characters you use, determines the size of the letters on the label.

 

There is a mistake on the label... and now?

If we have made a mistake during the production, we will of course replace the stick-on or iron-on labels. If you have made a mistake, then we can't be responsible for that. However, if you want, you can place another order.

What if my goods are damaged?

Label & Co is not responsible for damages to clothes or other items resulting from using the labels. You are strongly advised to read and follow the instructions of our iron-on labels carefully.

Can I give the labels as a gift?
Yes, of course you can. If you would like to give the labels as a gift, please insert the address of the lucky one in the delivery address field. When we send the goods, we will attach a card with the name of the sender, so that the receiver knows who sent this original and personal gift.

Please note: orders can only be sent as a whole and to one address per order. Have you ordered several articles and only one of those is a gift? Then, it is unfortunately not possible to send the gift to another address.

 

Where can I buy the labels from Label & Co.?
Our labels are only available via our website(s).

Can I use a self-made icon?
Yes, it is a possibility to use your own little icon. However, an allowance applies. Firstly get in touch with service@merksticker.com, so we can discuss the possibilities. 

 

What about the layout of the label?

Normally the label is produced as the example however there are exceptions. When for example the text on the label is mutually long or strongly differs, for example a short and a long (sur)name, then we have the ability to adapt the position of the icon so that the full label is used. Only in exceptional cases we will discuss in advance with you but only if we cannot choose the best option.

 

Opening an account: is it handy?

Yes, opening an account (client card) is very handy. You give us the address where the order needs to be delivered and your e-mail address for the confirmation. The only thing you need to do "extra" is to think of an (easy) password; that is really all you need to do. It is extremely safe, clear and user-friendly.

Of course Label & Co won't use your details in any other way than what you have indicated on your client card. Also, no financial information will be saved on your client card.

Is it compulsory to have an account?
No, it is not compulsory! You can place your order via e-mail as well. Just send an e-mail to service@merksticker.com with the following details:
- the article/articles of your choice;
- the product number, the quantity, the name, the colour, etc.;
- the full delivery and invoice address.

In the order Label & Co will include a link to the payment gateway, which will be sent to your e-mail address. After your payment is received, the goods you have ordered will be produced and sent.

Do you have advantages with an account?

Yes, this makes Label & Co unique! With an account you can view your reward points straight away, building up in this way extra discounts, which can be redeemed straight away. You have an overview of all your activities, orders, messages and your reward programme with which you can get money back.

Self-adhesive Labels
Our self-adhesive labels stick to any clean, dry, flat, non-greasy surface at room temperature. Make sure you remove any air bubbles trapped under the label, by pushing them towards the edge of the label! Round corners stick better.

After applying the label, we advise you to leave it for a few hours and to avoid any contact with water.

The labels are dishwasher (up to 60°C) and microwave safe. At temperatures higher than 60°C, for example for sterilising or boiling baby bottles, it could be that the colours fade away sooner and the structure of the labels change, which could result in the labels coming off.

Shoe Labels
Our shoe labels are especially designed to fit inside the shoe at the heel area. A special, transparent coating protects the labels from sweat and abrasion, and protects it from fading away. Stick the shoe labels on a smooth, flat and dry surface. Then, put the supplied transparent coating on top of it and press it firmly.

Please note: 

• Since the mini labels are quite small, they are not as dishwasher and microwave safe as the other labels.
• If you use the (mini) self-adhesive labels on items such as mobile phones, MP3 players and stationery their life-period might be shorter, since they are subject to a higher friction when they are in pockets and cases and since you might touch them often with your hands.
• Our "deluxe" labels are made using a different type of "ink", which makes them more sensitive to external factors.

 

 

Ironing instructions:

To make sure you get the best results from our labels, please follow these instructions carefully. Pay attention, however, to the type of label of your order (permanent or removable):

 

Permanent, flex material, iron-on labels: 

1. Set your iron to the hottest setting, no steam. Wait until the iron gets hot.

 2. Cut the label, including the blue application tape*, from the strip and remove it from the release paper. Place the label on the garment in the desired position with the text up.

3. Cover the label with a tea towel and firmly press the heated iron for approximately 20-40 seconds on a hard, smooth surface.

 4. Immediately after ironing, carefully remove the blue protective coating (if necessary, with tweezers), let the label cool down and check if it sticks. 

5. In case the label comes off, place the blue protective coating on top of the label again and repeat steps 3 and 4. Check that the iron is hot and, if necessary, press the heated iron on top of the label for a bit longer and with more pressure. 

* An extra protective coating that also keeps the label in place while ironing!

 

There is no blue application tape on your labels?
Then you have ordered cotton/polyester iron-on labels:
Follow the procedure above, except the tape application instructions.
> Cotton/polyester iron-on labels becoming softer after each washing. They do not even tickle and are almost indestructible, but to remove again. By re-heating the label with a towel and hot iron, you can take them out again. 

 

Please note: 

• The iron-on labels can be used on fabric such as cotton, polyester and a combination of these fabrics; but they are not suitable for fabrics that have a water repellent or dirt resistant coating.The life-period of our labels also depends on the heat, the pressure of the iron and its duration. Round corners stick better.
• Check the garment care label first! Always wash the garments inside-out and never apply a heated iron directly on to an iron-on label but always iron on the reverse.
• Limit the use of a dryer. Do not dry clean.
• If you wash the garments at temperatures from 60°C and if you use a fabric softener or a wool-safe detergent the labels might come off.

 

 

Sewing Labels:

Sewing labels are easy to sew and perfect for (homemade) clothing and other textiles. We offer fabric labels, polyester, nylon / polyamide and satin, which are printed with industrial quality equipment, for best results.

Polyester labels are smooth, light, have a high abrasion resistance and feel (even after washing) very soft. The label can be a bit static, but it remains in the form and does not discolour in direct sunlight.

Nylon (polyamide brand name) is lightweight and easy to fold. Nylon labels are strong, tear, crease and retain their shape. Not without reason the most widely used label type.

Satin polyester labels are extra fine woven, in a special way, making them shine and extra soft. These labels have a great printing result, which remains readable even after many washes. Unique to each application and great result!

For all types of synthetic fibers are generally the same excellent performance with washing or dry cleaning and durability.

TIP: Sewing labels will held better when stitched on several points, the label will wrinkle less after washing. Your sewing labels can be ironed. Please do so but watch the thermal state of the iron.

Note: Cut edges may fray slightly. Double stitching or fold ends gives strength for best results, therefore additional space of approximately 8-10mm each side to sew.

 

PS: Please be careful with the heated iron and keep (small) children at a distance during this procedure. Also please be aware that labels could be swallowed and cause suffocation. Should you have any questions, you can contact service@merksticker.com.
